Role
Design, Technical Illustration, Copy Editing
Research
We performed go-along interviews with Canada Post employees, who expressed dissatisfaction with fit, warmth, fabrics, and even self-esteem. Some quotations:
"...want to look like [we] work for the government"
"People think I work for the Rexall around the corner..."
"I hide my uniform when going to work"
Ideation
Both of us sketched garment ideas that addressed end user concerns and also conformed to Canada Post's brand image. We garnered feedback from Canada Post clerks on our designs.
Action
My partner illustrated the final boards in watercolour, while I created the technical flats in Illustrator.

Outcome
Our research, illustrations, and jointly written rationale convinced Logistik executives and Canada Post union leaders to award us first place. My partner and I split a cash prize and I had the pleasure of interning at Logistik Unicorp in Summer 2017.
